Welcome to SCFE’s 2018 Fantasy Golf Part Four. If you’ve read the previous articles, you know the drill. In Part One, I recapped the results of a live Fantasy Golf draft for the Masters. Part Two covered the scores and standings after the first round, and Part Three covered the scores and standings after the second round.

Saturday is known as moving day at four-round golf tournaments. This is the day where golfers who survived the cut seek to move up the leaderboard and position themselves heading into the final round. The better you play on Saturday; the later you tee off on Sunday.

For Fantasy Golf purposes, moving day can either give you a sense of confidence heading into the last round, or make you very nervous. It’s like watching a trailer for Solo if you know anything about the behind-the-scenes drama. I’m still rooting for it to be awesome.

Let’s take a look at moving day results with SCFE’s 2018 Fantasy Golf Part Four.

The Format

As explained in Part One, this is a 12-team league with rosters of 7 golfers each. The teams use the lowest 4 golfers’ scores combined over the 4 rounds of the tournament. Lowest overall total at the end of the Masters wins. If a team does not have at least 4 golfers make the cut, however, that team is eliminated from contention.

Those are the Round 3 results brought to you by SCFE’s 2018 Fantasy Golf Part Four. Like Ricky Steamboat and Randy Savage stealing the show at WrestleMania 3 (with WrestleMania this weekend, I just have to throw out wrestling references), Team Dyn-o-mite! has broken away from the pack.

Fleetwood Mac has gone their own way and surged up the leaderboard, but Team Dyn-o-mite! increased their lead on moving day to 12 strokes; and will be tough to catch on Sunday. Like Kenny Lee proved in Dead Solid Perfect (an all-time underrated golf movie), however, anything is possible.

Up next are the final round scores. Until next time, don’t get caught night putting.
