Welcome to the Monday edition of Daily Fantasy Baseball and my Draftkings Picks for April 10.

Today’s slate is a mess. There are five-day games and five-night games.

So, I’ll split it up for you. I’ll give you a day play, a night play, and of course Trevor Story (he plays tonight).

In the day slate, pitching is expensive for the top end. I don’t mind Jharel Cotton with Chris Sale if you need the salary relief. The Royals haven’t been very dangerous yet. Also, in the day slate there are some teams who are seeing a pitcher for the second time in a week or so. Be very careful of pitchers that are in that situation. Tijuan Walker comes to the forefront.

Ok! Lets’ get to the Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks for April 10.

Draftkings Picks For April 10

Pitcher

Chris Sale, BOS at DET ($12,400) (Day Play)

Hey look, Chris Sale outside of Fenway. Sounds good to me. For what it’s worth, when Sale pitches in Fenway there is a good chance I won’t be having any part of that. I’ll spare you the Kate Upton referen…oh wait nevermind.

Jacob deGrom, NYM at PHI ($9,300)

A $2,000 discount from the highest-salaried pitcher, Jon Lester. deGrom gets the Phillies who set the world on fire on Saturday night. I admit though, I want an AB against Jeremy Guthrie. Anyway, save yourself the money and build around deGrom.

Catcher

Salvador Perez, KC vs. OAK ($3,300) (Day Play)

Perez has been on fire! Although he’s homered in three straight games, I don’t expect him to hit a home run in four straight games. Even if he doesn’t hit a dinger, he is still hot. Too bad the Royals don’t score any runs and rank 22nd in runs scored so far this year.

Whoever the Rockies start vs. SD ($3,300-$3,800)

If you aren’t stacking the top part of the Rockies order and need a cheap option, why not take a chance on a catcher playing in Coors Field which are the dirtiest words in DFS. I would recommend a Padres catcher but none of them are worth mentioning, even in Coors. So, a Padres catcher will be low-owned if you like those tournaments.

First Base

Paul Goldschmidt, ARI at SF ($4,300) (Day Play)

BVP is alive and well in the match-up vs. Matt Moore. Goldy is only 5-for-11 with a bomb and a few RBI. He should be locked into your lineups, despite the massive park shift from Arizona.

Adam Duvall, CIN at PIT ($3,900)

I love Adam Duvall. If you want a discount from Mark Reynolds ($5,000) and Wil Myers ($5,300), Duvall is your boo!

Second Base

Jed Lowrie, OAK at KC ($2,700) (Day Play)

I love these damn senior pictures. So that’s why I’m recommending Lowrie. Not really, I’m punting second base on the day slate. The studs are not in very good situations.

Daniel Murphy, WAS vs. STL ($4,600)

Once again, if I’m staying away from Coors, Daniel Murphy is your guy. He is only batting .480 in this young season, so if you’re telling me a guy is going to get a hit just about half of the time, I’ll take it.

Third Base

Eduardo Nunez, SF vs. ARI ($3,600) (Day Play)

While Nunez doesn’t have any home runs and only one RBI, he does have four steals and is batting. .333. I don’t really love targeting games in San Francisco, but this is a guy I like today.

Yangervis Solarte, SD at COL ($4,700)

The price is criminal on Solarte. He has actually been a bright spot for the Padres and now he gets to go hit in Coors. He is batting in the heart of the order and is hitting .377. Of course, I’ll have a Padres stack.

Shortstop

Jean Segura, SEA vs. HOU ($4,300) (Day Play)

Segura has been as advertised for the Mariners despite the fact that they aren’t playing that well at all. He hits for power, swipes bags and is even hitting for average. With a lot of hitters to be desired at this position pay up and get Segura.

Corey Seager, LAD at CHC ($4,100)

Coming off of a great weekend in Colorado, Corey Seager is also a nice pivot away from the Coors guys. The price is ideal as well. There is a little bit of a park shift, but Seager is in Chicago and hey look, it’s Jon Lester. So there could be some steals up for grabs here too!

Outfielder

George Springer, HOU at SEA ($4,000)

Springer and Sal Perez are tied for the league lead in home runs. They are set to play Seattle (again) and the Astros also lead the Majors in runs scored. Don’t be silly, just roll with Springer! He has already tagged James Paxton for two home runs in their brief match-ups.

Gerardo Parra, COL vs. SD ($4,200)

The Rockies top half of the order has sort of struggled, even at Coors. Carlos Gonzalez, DJ LeMahieu and Trevor Story really haven’t been spitting hot fire. You could even throw Charlie Blackmon into that mix to a lesser extent. However, Parra did get moved up in the order yesterday while LeMahieu came in to pinch hit. Parra has been the most consistent Rockies player so far and for me will be a lock given the salary.

Top Stacks

We can only stack five hitters vs. six from last year. However, as I mentioned before, the three team requirement is gone.

  • Colorado Rockies, if you can make pitching work
  • San Diego Padres and they make pitching work
  • San Francisco Giants (Day Play) (In my opinion always low owned in SF)
  • Arizona Diamondbacks (Matt Moore stinks)

Best of luck today and I hope you enjoyed my Daily Fantasy Baseball draftkings picks for April 10.
