With a full slate of MLB action, SCFE is here to bring you our DraftKings Picks for April 26.

Wednesday brings a full 15 game schedule, with a very strong hitting slate.

You’ll see that I’m targeting pitchers with high strikeout potential in this slate, and paying up for strong bats where I can.

I was able to find a couple of good value picks scattered around at each position, which should be in your DFS lineups.

Without further ado, below are our DraftKings picks for April 26.

DraftKings Picks For April 26

Pitcher

Noah Syndergaard, NYM vs ATL ($12,600)

Even though Syndergaard has the highest price of any pitcher in the slate, he also has the best strikeout potential. Thor has been great this season, with 30 Ks, a 1.73 ERA and a 0.89 WHIP. The only concern here is that Atlanta has hit Syndergaard well. Freddie Freeman is 5-for-9, Brandon Phillips is 4-for-12, and Nick Markakis is 3-for-9 against Thor. Still, Fantasy points are tied up in strikeouts, and Thor has the best stuff on the slate.

James Paxton, SEA at DET ($8,200)

One of my sleepers heading into the year, Paxton has been great with the exception of one outing this season. Through four games, Paxton has 30 Ks, with a 1.78 ERA and a 0.87 WHIP. Paxton is also a great strikeout guy, and the Tigers are a swing and miss team. Considering that Detroit is missing multiple big batters in their lineup, Paxton is a smart start today on the road.

Other Pitchers I Like

  • Jon Lester, CHC at PIT ($11,600)
  • Carlos Martinez, STL vs TOR ($8,900)
  • Julio Teheran, ATL at NYM ($8,600)
  • Dylan Bundy, BAL vs TB ($7,600)

Catcher

Yadier Molina, STL vs TOR ($3,300)

I love Yadier Molina in DFS because he is always cheap, and gives you steady production in a poor-hitting position. Molina is hitting .353 over 34 at-bats against Mat Latos. Molina is a solid bet at the catcher position.

J.T. Realmuto, MIA at PHI ($3,600)

An outstanding hitter for average, Realmuto also produces consistent numbers out of the catcher spot. Miami’s roster has been hitting well so far this season and they’ve just gotten Martin Prado back. The Phillies are bringing up Nick Pivetta for his first career start, so I like a Marlins stack in this slate.

Other Catchers I Like

  • Buster Posey, SF vs LAD ($3,500)

First Base

Freddie Freeman, ATL at NYM ($4,300)

Freeman has been one of the league’s best hitters to start the season. Even in a tough matchup against Noah Syndergaard, Freeman is hitting 5-for-9 against Thor in his career. Even though he’s been on fire this season, he’s still moderately priced, which makes him more than worth it for DFS.

Anthony Rizzo, CHC at PIT ($4,800)

After a slow start, Rizzo has absolutely been heating up as of late. Rizzo has had double-digit Fantasy points on Draftkings in his last seven games. Tyler Glasnow has struggled against the whole Cubs roster, as he has a 7.94 ERA this season. Look for Rizzo to hit double-digit points again as this Cubs lineup continues their hot streak.

Other First Basemen I Like

  • Eric Thames, MIL vs CIN ($5,000)
  • Edwin Encarnacion, CLE vs HOU ($5,000)

Second Base

Rougned Odor, TEX vs MIN ($4,300)

Odor has definitely been a boom or bust type of DFS play at second base. I like his matchup against Hector Santiago, as Odor is hitting .423 against him in 26 at-bats. These numbers make Odor seem a lot more boom than bust in this matchup, so target him in DFS.

Robinson Cano, SEA at DET ($4,100)

Cano has been heating up after a slow start, and the Mariners just got back lead-off hitter Jean Segura. The opposing pitcher (Daniel Norris) is coming off a rough outing, and this Seattle lineup needs to get going. I like Cano to produce well in this road matchup.

Other Second Basemen I Like

  • Yangervis Solarte, SD at ARI ($3,800)

Third Base

Kris Bryant, CHC at PIT ($4,700)

On April 24, Kris Bryant and the whole Cubs lineup exploded on offense, and they will look to stay hot throughout the series. Bryant and the Cubs also torched Tyler Glasnow in their previous outing, so Bryant is a safe bet here.

Jake Lamb, ARI vs SD ($3,900)

Starting Jake Lamb at home against a right-handed pitcher is always a good choice. Even though Trevor Cahill has gotten off to a good start this season, Arizona is a horrible place to pitch. I like all the Diamondbacks left-handed hitters to perform well in this home matchup.

Other Third Basemen I Like

  • Joey Gallo, TEX vs MIN ($3,600)
  • Martin Prado, MIA at PHI ($3,500)

Shortstop

Addison Russell, CHC at PIT ($3,300)

Another Chicago Cub? Absolutely for this price. For a cheap price, Russell is a great pick for high RBI numbers, and has been hot as of late.

Zack Cozart, CIN at MIL ($4,000)

After a strong season last year, Cozart has come strong out of the gates. When you see Cincinnati and Milwaukee playing, you know it will be an offensive game, just ask Eric Thames. $4,000 for a .387 hitter is a great value pick here in a hitting-friendly matchup.

Other Shortstops I Like

  • Aledmys Diaz, STL vs TOR ($3,900)
  • Chris Owings, ARI vs SD ($3,400)

Outfielder

Andrew Benintendi, BOS vs NYY ($3,600)

The Boston rookie has been hitting well to start the season (.347 BA). I expect Severino to have a tough time in Boston in this matchup, and like Benintendi for his price.

Mike Trout, LAA vs OAK ($5,100)

It’s hard to ever find a matchup in which Trout isn’t in line for a strong outing. Trout has killed the A’s throughout his career, and with a .571 average against Sean Manaea, I expect this to continue. Trout is the high-priced outfielder I would recommend targeting in DFS lineups tomorrow.

Other Outfielders I Like

  • Bryce Harper, WAS @ COL ($6,100)
  • Adam Duvall, CIN @ MIL ($4,600)
  • Christian Yellich, MIA @ PHI ($4,400)
  • Marcell Ozuna, MIA @ PHI ($3,700)

After reading through my breakdown of the slate, I hope my strategy with who I’m targeting is clear. With pitchers, draft upside and strikeouts, as this is a more hitting-friendly slate. With hitters, look for value picks you like, and fill in your roster with other stars. This should give you the right balance to win some money in this full Wednesday slate. Best of luck to you all, go win some money!
