It is Week 7 of the NFL and with four teams resting on bye weeks there are 14 games scheduled for fantasy football daily league competitors to choose rosters from.

Here we go again. Play fantasy football with this Monday night featuring the struggling 1-5 Baltimore Ravens traveling to the west for the fourth time this season to face the Arizona Cardinals. It’s the second time this year they have back to back road games out west. They opened up at Denver in week one, then in week two played at Oakland.

The Ravens lost that game to Oakland and gave up 37 points to the Raiders. Quarterback Derek Carr shredded the Ravens pass defense for 351 yards and three passing touchdowns. Baltimore couldn’t hold a 33-30 lead late at Carr drove Oakland for the game winning touchdown with a 12 yard touchdown pass with 26 seconds left.

Last week at San Francisco the Ravens lost 25-20 and allowed a struggling Colin Kaepernick to pass for 340 yards and two touchdown passes. So here we are again with the Ravens playing the Cardinals in the back end of a back to back out west. The opponent for Baltimore is the Arizona Cardinals who throw for 284 yards per contest. The stadium will be loud in Arizona on a Monday night making communications difficult for the Ravens secondary.

Carson Palmer is completing 65% of his throws for 1737 yards with 14 touchdowns and 5 picks. This is an NFC versus AFC game and the Ravens only see the Cardinals once every four years and play at Arizona only once every eight years. This will benefit the Cardinals offense as the Ravens won’t be familiar with the Arizona offensive formations and route running by their receivers. In their game at Pittsburgh last week Carson Palmer threw for 421 yards. He made two picks but look for a rebound from Palmer at home on Monday night against a bad Baltimore Ravens defense.  In his three home games this year Palmer passes for over 300 yards in all three.

The Oakland Raiders are coming off their bye week as they travel to play the San Diego Chargers. Oakland is 2-3 on the year. They have defended the run very well but the team is getting shredded against the pass as they are giving up 299 yards per game through the air.

San Diego with Phillip Rivers under center is continuing to be a one dimensional offensive team. It is the Phillip Rivers show. Chargers top target in the passing game in Keenan Allen is banged up as he is listed as questionable with an injured hip. Tight end Antonio Gates made his debut with the San Diego Chargers two weeks ago after he served his four game suspension. Gates had nine catches for 92 yards and two touchdowns in the Monday night football loss to Pittsburgh. A week later at Green Bay the Chargers talented tight end was targeted a game high 16 times by Phillip Rivers with nine catches for 95 yards. With Allen hobbled expect passes to come Gates way again on Sunday. Phillip Rivers threw the football 65 times last week for 503 yards and two touchdowns.

The Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants meet on Sunday afternoon in a revenge game for the Giants after dropping a week one game at Dallas. The Giants in their past two homes games put up 30 points against the 49ers and 32 against the Redskins. Wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has played well at home with 146 receiving yards against the Falcons, 79 against the Redskins and 121 yards against the 49ers as he caught a touchdown pass in each game.

Play on Odell Beckham Jr. (WR)
