Joe Bond and A.J. Applegarth are back this week to continue their 2017 Fantasy Baseball Position Previews. In this show they get into the Second Base and Shortstop positions.
2017 Fantasy Baseball Second Base and Shortstop Preview
We begin with Second Base. This once shallow position is now one of the deepest in all of baseball. Altuve is on top of the mountain, but there is plenty of value to be had here.
Some questions answered are: Is Trea Turner the real deal? Which Robinson Cano will we get? Can Daniel Murphy repeat his monster 2016?
Next we move to Shortstops. This position is loaded with young talent in the majors now, which is a far cry from where we were just a couple of seasons ago.
Now that Manny Machado has SS eligibility, does this boost his draft stock? Can Jonathan Villar repeat 2016? Where do we draft Jose Peraza now that he has the starting job to himself?
