Heading into our Week 12 injury report, all eyes were on Tom Brady.
The veteran quarterback missed practice on Wednesday because of an issue with his Achilles. He was only able to get in a limited practice on Thursday, but he is on track to play.
And not only will Brady be on the field in Week 12, he has a great matchup. The Miami Dolphins have allowed the 13th-most Fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. In Week 1 last year against the Dolphins, Brady threw for 276 yards and recorded three touchdown passes.
Make sure he’s in your lineup for Week 12.
Now, let’s take a look at the rest of the players you need to know about in our Week 12 injury report.
Week 12 Injury Report for Quarterbacks
Jay Cutler, Miami Dolphins
Due to a concussion, Cutler will be on the bench in Week 12.
In his place, Matt Moore will get the start. In three games, Moore has completed 59.1% of his passes, thrown for an average of 215 passing yards per game, recorded three touchdown passes, and has been picked off three times.
The defense for the Patriots ranks outside the top 20 in Fantasy points this season, but this may be a spot where you want to start them.
Week 12 Injury Report for Running Backs
Devonta Freeman, Atlanta Falcons
Freeman missed Week 11 thanks to a concussion, and he’s now going to miss another week.
Tevin Coleman wasn’t able to do much against the Seattle Seahawks with his 20 touches last week, rushing for just 43 yards. He did, though, score a rushing touchdown. Coleman’s matchup this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be much friendlier.
The Buccaneers have allowed the 13th-most Fantasy points to running backs this season.
Ty Montgomery, Green Bay Packers
Still dealing with issues with his ribs, Montgomery is doubtful to play in Week 12.
Backup Jamaal Williams was relevant in PPR leagues last week with his four catches for 38 yards, but his rushing stats left much to be desired. He only rushed for 57 yards on 18 carries.
Week 12 Injury Report for Wide Receivers
Emmanuel Sanders, Denver Broncos
Sanders is expected to play in Week 12, but he may be limited because of an ankle injury.
He hasn’t offered consistent production this year, but that’s due to his quarterback situation. Paxton Lynch is expected to get the start against the Oakland Raiders, so we have to see if he can help Sanders find a consistent role.
Kelvin Benjamin, Buffalo Bills
Benjamin didn’t practice this week, and he’s expected to miss his matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
He’s only caught four passes since joining the Bills. Benjamin will be a player you want to avoid heading into the 2018 Fantasy Football season.
Week 12 Injury Report for Tight Ends
Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots
Gronk was limited in practice on Thursday because of an illness, but he was removed from the injury report on Friday.
The Dolphins have allowed the 5th-most Fantasy points to tight ends so far in 2017.
Jimmy Graham, Seattle Seahawks
Graham’s status is questionable because of an ankle injury. He didn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday, but he’s expected to play against the San Francisco 49ers.
However, the Seahawks won’t play until 4:05 p.m., so make sure to have a backup plan if Graham is ruled out on Sunday.
