Welcome back to the Week 15 Daily Fantasy Football series, with this one focusing on Running Backs.

Last week, illness struck me with a one-two punch. Although Daily Fantasy Football is never possible for me to ignore, the ability to properly research, complete rankings, and simply being able to breathe was difficult.

I need to thank Sarah Lewis for filling in for me where she could last week.  I am sure helping people who regularly read my columns.

It is playoff week for seasonal leagues, but as you know the beauty of Daily Fantasy Football is there is no such thing as playoffs. It is another week where anyone and everyone can play and hopefully win! Also a reminder that I am not encouraging using two of my three picks each week as much as targeting one running back and avoiding others each week as you build your lineups.

With that I wish you all the best of luck, and encourage you to stay tuned for Levi Serfoss’ and my own Daily Fantasy Football picks and lineups later in the week if you want targets or roster construction help on socalledfantasyexperts.com and even on Twitter.

Week 15 Daily Fantasy Football

3 FanDuel Value Plays at RB

Tim Hightower, New Orleans Saints vs. Detroit Lions ($6,300)

Hightower didn’t do much to dazzle Fantasy owners in Week 14, BUT he did assume the workload of Mark Ingram. That means he carried the ball over 25 times (a good thing), averaged three yards a carry (not shabby), and found the end-zone as well. This week he faces a defense that is solid, but vulnerable as well.  (Week 14 FanDuel Points: 16  )

Denard Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Atlanta Falcons ($6,300)

With another injury to a lead back (T.J. Yeldon), Robinson stepped right in wear he left off. He racked up 75 yards rushing in half a game, as well as a touchdown. This week he faces another defense that simply can’t stop anyone. A nice GPP play here this week.  (Week 14 FanDuel Points: 15.2 )

Lamar Miller, Miami Dolphins at San Diego Chargers ($6,700)

The decision to stop using Miller in the second half of Monday night’s game boggled most everyone’s mind. Miller had a dominant first half, nearly averaging eight yards a carry, scoring twice, and piling up 89 yards. This week he faces a defense that is even worse, and should be able to capitalize after the Week 14 mystery.  (Week 14 FanDuel Points: 20.9 / FPPG: 14.1  )

3 Running Backs to Avoid on FanDuel

Javorius Allen, Baltimore Ravens vs. Kansas City Chiefs ($6,600)

Allen has been a blessing to owners willing to buy him for mid-range prices, or who snagged him off of the waiver wire weeks ago after an injury. This week, however, he is facing a defense that is absolutely on fire and I fear will shut Allen down this week. He may be worth a roll of the dice in GPP formats, but I am avoiding in cash games.

Matt Forte, Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings ($7,900)

We all know what Forte is capable of, but the Vikings defense has been plagued by injuries and has not been solid against the run. Forte should be able to manage, but the ultimate question is will he meet value.

Darren McFadden, Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Jets ($6,800)

Here is another back who has been playing very well and will not be completely shut-down, but he is facing a tough defense.
