Week 7 Daily Fantasy Football is here and the NFL season is flying by and it just makes me sad of how short the NFL season is.
There are a lot of good Wide Receivers on bye this week, so the WR pool is very thin.
In Daily Fantasy Football you have to make due with what’s available to you, with that let’s get to this weeks WR values and WR to avoid for Daily Fantasy Football.
Week 7 teams on Bye: Chicago Bears, Cincinnati Bengals, Denver Broncos and Green Bay Packers
All prices are based on Fanduel pricing.
Week 7 Daily Fantasy Football
3 Value Wide Receivers
Mike Evans, Tampa Buccaneers @ Washington Redskins ($7500)
Evans was on bye last week so he had an extra week to get healthier and get more acclimated with his rookie QB Jameis Winston in practice. Throw in the fact that he gets to feast on the Washington Redskins secondary. I look for Evans to break out this week and show people why he was so highly drafted going into this season.
Eric Decker, NY Jets @ New England Patriots ($6200)
Decker is another player getting healthier and with a match up vs the Patriots should mean it’s going to be a high scoring game. Bill Belchick is going to focus on shutting down Chris Ivory and Brandon Marshall which should lead to solid production for Eric Decker.
Michael Floyd, Arizona Cardinals vs Baltimore Ravens ($4900)
I know there are a lot of talented Wide Receivers on the Arizona Cardinals but while watching the game last week I really liked what I saw out of Floyd and it seemed that Carson Palmer had good chemistry with Floyd. Floyd has 6 red zone targets on the season compared to Fitzgerald’s 7 red zone targets. Great match up this week vs a banged up Baltimore secondary. Floyd is a great tournament play because his price is so deflated.
3 Wide Receivers To Avoid
Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona Cardinals vs Baltimore Ravens ($7800)
Fitzgerald scored 5 TD’s in two games and only 1 TD in his other 4 games played this year. Michael Floyd is getting healthier and Carson Palmer is clearly spreading the ball around much more now. Now there is a chance Fitzgerald could put up a good game vs a weak defense, I would consider Fitzgerald in tournaments but I don’t like him for 50/50 games.
Pivot to Julian Edelman, New England Patriots vs New York Jets ($8000)
Steve Smith, Baltimore Ravens @ Arizona Cardinals ($ 6900)
Steve Smith is an amazing athlete, for him to play with fractures in his back last week and to put up big time stats was very impressive. This week unfortunately he goes up against a very good Arizona secondary and I can’t see him putting up big numbers like that again. Plus this could be a blow out and Smith might sit out some of the second half.
Pivot to Jarvis Landry, Miami Dolphins vs Houston Texans ($7100)
Martavis Bryant, Pittsburgh Steelers @ Kansas City Chiefs ($6900)
Bryant received 42 % of the targets last week and had a huge game. I just can’t see Bryant getting that much attention again in the passing game and feel the Steelers will lean on Leveon Bell and Antonio Brown this week, especially if Ben Roethlisberger is back at Quarterback.
Pivot to Michael Floyd, Arizona Cardinals vs Baltimore Ravens ($4900) Floyd is $2000 less then Bryant!!!!!
That’s all for this week and Good Luck in Daily Fantasy Football!!!!
