Week 9 of Daily Fantasy Football. Week 8 was very bizarre. We had a lot of injuries as well as some very big performances. The best part about Daily Fantasy Football is that this week we get to pick healthy players that are not hurt and possibly pick players that will have big performances.

The So-Called Fantasy Experts are here to help get you the right players to help you get the job done this week and every week until the end of the season. There are six teams on bye this week, so the player pool is lower than normal.

Week 9 teams on bye: Baltimore Ravens, Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, Houston Texans, Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs.

All prices are based on Fanduel pricing.

Let’s get to finding the studs and duds for your Week 9 Daily Fantasy Football action.

Week 9 Daily Fantasy Football

3 Value Wide Receivers

Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New York Giants ($7,500)

Evans got off to a very slow start due to a preseason injury that slowed him down. Evans has a great match up this week versus a very weak Giants defense that has a poor secondary and no pass rush. Look for Jameis Winston to have all day to find his favorite target, especially in the red zone. The Giants offense should provide enough points so there isn’t a fear of a blowout.

Willie Snead, New Orleans Saints vs. Tennessee Titans ($6,100)

Snead has been a huge help for the Saints offense as it was sputtering early on and Drew Brees was banged up. Snead has emerged as the No. 1 wide receiver and has been pretty consistent in games where the Saints weren’t blowing out there opponent. Now looking at this week’s opponent, you would think the Saints would blow out the lowly Titans, but I truly believe Drew Brees will have another huge week. I like Brees to throw for 300 yards and four touchdowns in a rout of the Titans and Snead will be on the receiving end of at least one of those TDs.

Malcom Floyd/Stevie Johnson, San Diego Chargers vs. Chicago Bears ($6,100/$5,400)

I know I usually list one player here, but I feel both of these players are going to have solid games on MNF. Rivers just lost his top wide receiver and is on pace to break records in the passing game this year. So with that, I project Floyd and Johnson to both get five to seven targets and a TD each. The $700 wiggle room could be very helpful in finalizing your lineup.

3 Wide Receivers to Avoid

Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles ($7,900)

We featured Bryant in this spot last week and he didn’t let us down as he only posted two catches for  12 yards. Bryant isn’t fully healthy and is only out there as a decoy until het gets back to 100%. He is a team player and will do whatever it takes for the team to win. Let’s be real here, until Romo returns, Matt Cassel can’t make big plays in the passing game, even with Bryant healthy. Until Bryant is 100% and Romo is back on the field, Bryant should remain on your bench.

Pivot to Alshon Jeffery $7,900

Randall Cobb, Green Bay Packers at Carolina Panthers ($7,400)

Cobb has a very tough match up this week. Cobb will he shadowed by the Panthers top CB, Josh Norman, and will have a tough time this week. Let’s face it, the Packers offense hasn’t looked the same without Jordy Nelson stretching the field and with Eddie Lacy as a zero threat in the running game, the play action pass isn’t same either. Aaron Rodgers and the passing game will probably struggle again this week unless Lacy, Adams or Jones can play very well.

Pivot to Amari Cooper $7,300

Andre Johnson, Indianapolis Colts vs. Denver Broncos ($5,600)

Johnson had a great game last week and I believe that was due to a soft zone defense the Panthers played. I suppose the Broncos can play a similar defense, but I wouldn’t be willing to put my money on Johnson being able to put up another good game this week. Johnson has had very few solid performances this year and I am going to play it safe and assume he has a bad performance this week.

Pivot to Stevie Johnson $5,400

That’s all and Good Luck this week!!!!!
