Welcome to the byezilla. This week there are a whopping six teams taking an in-season break. The Cardinals, Ravens, Seahawks, Lions, Chiefs and Texans are all off this week.

This and injury concerns from last week will leave some rosters a bit thin this week.

Here within your Week 9 injury report, you will find the news and information to help you navigate the landscape of the NFL and Fantasy for your teams.

Who will likely be playing on Sunday? Who will likely be out?

Come on in to the Week 9 injury report and get all your information.

Arizona Cardinals

Bye

Atlanta Falcons

Leonard Hankerson, WR

Hankerson has not practiced this week. He is out for Week 9.

Nick Williams

Williams was limited on Wednesday and Thursday, but returned to full practice on Friday. Expect to see him on Sunday in a larger role without Hankerson in the lineup.

Baltimore Ravens

Bye

Buffalo Bills

Percy Harvin, WR

Harvin has been placed on season-ending injured reserve. You can safely drop him in all formats as he is still considering retirement.

Sammy Watkins, WR

Watkins was downgraded on Friday to out of practice, but says he thinks he will play Sunday. It is hard to trust him even if he is active, as he left his last game after scoring. Even if he is active, I don’t think I can play him.

Carolina Panthers

Looking good in Carolina!

Chicago Bears

Matt Forte, RB

Forte is out for Week 9.

Eddie Royal, WR

Royal has not practiced this week. As a Monday night player, and a fringe guy, I wouldn’t count on him this week. Find yourself a better option, which shouldn’t be too difficult.

Cincinnati Bengals

Played Thursday night game.

Cleveland Browns

Played Thursday night game.

Dallas Cowboys

Dez Bryant, WR

Bryant was limited all week in practice. I don’t see any possible way he misses this game after playing last week. Philadelphia presents a decent matchup for Dez this week. Be prepared to fire him up for Sunday night.

Denver Broncos

Ronnie Hillman, RB

Hillman was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday in practice. He is still expected to start this week so make sure he is active Sunday and be ready to plug him in your lineup.

Detroit Lions

Bye

Green Bay Packers

Ty Montgomery, WR

Montgomery was a limited participant in practice this week, but was downgraded from questionable to doubtful. He progressed from last week, but seems to be a candidate for another week of rest this week. I can’t comfortably plan on having him or expecting him to be productive this week.

Houston Texans

Bye

Indianapolis Colts

T.Y.Hilton, WR

Hilton is a game-time decision after not practicing this week. After finishing Monday night with a noticeable limp, the lack of practice is not a positive development. I wouldn’t plan on seeing Hilton this week and would take him out of my lineup if I have a solid choice to play instead.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Allen Hurns, WR

Hurns has followed his usual progression for most of the season. He was limited on Wednesday and Thursday, but practiced on Friday in full. I would expect to see him Sunday, in what looks to be a great matchup for him this week.

Kansas City Chiefs

Bye

Miami Dolphins

DeVante Parker, WR

Parker is doubtful with a foot injury after missing practice all week for the Dolphins. I would not expect to see him this week.

Minnesota Vikings

Stefon Diggs, WR

Diggs went through the whole progression this week, ending up with a full practice on Friday. This would lead me to expect him to play this Sunday for the Vikings.

New England Patriots

Dion Lewis, RB

Lewis is probable with his abdominal injury. After playing last week, and having 10 days off, I would expect to see him out there this week.

Julian Edelman, WR

Edelman is probable this week after being limited in practice with a knee issue. I would expect to see him on Sunday.

New Orleans Saints

Willie Snead, WR

Snead is probable this week after being a limited participant in practice on Thursday and Friday. Expect Snead to be active to take advantage of a good matchup at the Titans this week.

New York Giants

Orleans Darkwa, RB

Darkwa is probable with a bruised tailbone this week. It is possible that Darkwa will get a look at some solid opportunity this week to earn himself the starting job moving forward. I can’t say I would start him, but I would keep an eye on him.

Rueben Randle, WR

Randle is questionable this week after being limited in practice on Thursday and Friday. Given his track record so far this season, I would expect to see him this week.

Larry Donnell, TE

Donnell is out this week.

New York Jets

Stevan Ridley, RB

Welcome a wrinkle into the Jets backfield. Ridley was a full participant in practice this week. Monitor him for his role this week.

Eric Decker, WR

Decker is listed as probable for Sunday after fully participating on Friday in practice. Expect him this week.

Brandon Marshall, WR

Marshall is listed as questionable this week, but having two limited practices would lead me to believe that he will be in the lineup this week for the Jets.

Oakland Raiders

Nothing Fantasy related to report.

Philadelphia Eagles

Ryan Mathews, RB

Mathews is listed as questionable this week with a groin injury. Mathews ran the gamut of practice designations this week. Having a full practice on Friday, I would expect to see him in some capacity this weekend.

Pittsburgh Steelers

After the losses sustained last week, there is nothing major to report this week.

San Diego Chargers

Antonio Gates, TE

Gates has been limited this week with a knee injury. After playing last week, it is unlikely that Gates would not play this week. The fact that this is a Monday game makes it a bit scarier. I expect him to play, but am not sure what ability he will be able to produce.

Ladarius Green, TE

Green has not practiced this week. After leaving last week’s game, and being spotted on the sidelines with a walking boot, I wouldn’t expect to see Green this week.

Seattle Seahawks

Bye

San Francisco 49ers

Carlos Hyde, RB

Hyde is out this week.

Mike Davis, RB

Davis is out this week.

Anquan Boldin, WR

Boldin is listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury this week. I would not expect to see him after he was unable to practice this week.

St. Louis Rams

Nothing major to report here.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Vincent Jackson, WR

Jackson is out again this week.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE

Seferian-Jenkins is more likely to play this week after having a full practice on Friday. The void that is left by Vincent Jackson being out is easily filled by Seferian-Jackson for as long as he is able to stay on the field.

Tennessee Titans

Marcus Mariota, QB

Mariota was a full participant in practice this week. This would lead to the idea that he will be a full go on Sunday for the Titans.

Kendall Wright, WR

Wright is out this week for the Titans.

Washington Redskins

Chris Thompson, RB

Thompson is expected to make his return this week for Washington. Fire him up in PPR leaues.

DeSean Jackson, WR

Jackson was limited all week in practice. He has said that he intends to play, but if I am a Fantasy owner, I can’t see starting him fresh off of a hamstring injury that has suffered a setback.

This brings us to the end of the Week 9 injury report. As always keep an eye on the inactives on Sunday morning, and take care with the late game and Monday players. Err on the side of caution, and go out there and dominate this week!
