You know the story by now. I give you some names, you use them and you win money.

If you read my article last week you should have cashed. Well, save for that Toronto and Astros stack advice, but hey if I had all the answers I would retire.

Monday is a rather short 10 game slate where once again there is a lot to be desired for pitching. However, there are a few good options.

For hitting you will be able to target hitter-friendly parks in Arizona and Texas. So look to stack your Nationals and Royals.

But enough about me, lets get to my daily fantasy baseball picks for Monday, May 11, 2015.

Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks for Monday, May 11

Starting Pitchers

It’s close for me. Real close. It’s a coin flip between Scott Kazmir and Zack Greinke.

I like Kazmir vs. Boston who hasn’t been able to hit a baseball as of late. Oakland is a pitcher friendly park, however, the A’s offense has also been sputtering as of late so it may be tough for Kazmir to get the win.

Zack Greinke will also be a popular choice as well. Once again the Dodgers are at home and have a pitcher friendly park. Unlike Oakland the Dodgers have been hitting well and should be well rested since they really only went to Colorado to site see for 3 days. Greinke gets a Marlins team who have been on the west coast for the last week and roughed up the likes of Madison Bumgarner and Tim Hudson.

I give a slight edge to Greinke over Kazmir just because of the win probability.

Then there’s Gerrit Cole vs. the Phillies. We know the story here. The Phillies rough up Matt Harvey but struggle against Jon Niese. I don’t think this is one of those games where the Phillies get to a good pitcher. Cole is no longer a sneaky play and will probably be the most popular pitcher today.

Stephen Vogt: Gets to face Rugged Rick Porcello. Yeah, I know he threw some scoreless ball against Tampa Bay but big deal Happy Gilmore accomplished that feat no more than an hour ago.

Adrian Gonzalez: Gets to see Tom Koehler who is in pitchers anonymous after Bryce Harper gave him the business on a Thursday afternoon.

Dee Gordon: Revenge game against former team. Only batting .437 and will swipe bags with the best of them. Sure there is no power, captain but when DraftKings gives you 5 points for a stolen base Gordon makes for an excellent option.

Manny Machado: Is Handy Manny back? I believe so. He has been batting lead-off and if he continues to hit like he can the world will be a better place. He is another candidate to steal bases as well.

Shortstop– I’m not going to bother naming names. Just punt it.

Mark Canha: Has had 4 home runs in his last 10 games. Grant it no one has noticed as his ownership levels have been less than 5 %. I hate giving away my Ryan Seacrests but if Canha is in the line-up you should take notice.

Ryan Braun: Don’t look now but Braun and the rest of the Brewers are starting to heat up. They get to face the White Sox for 3 games this week and there is not one pitcher that will present them any problems.

Bryce Harper: Pay up and get him. I’ll just leave this right here.

Lorenzo Cain: The Royals have been spitting hot fire. Despite only 1 home run and 1 rbi in his last 10 games he is getting pitches to hit because no one wants a piece of Eric Hosmer right now. In his last 10 games Cain is batting .289 (as of Sunday morning.)

Andrew McCutchen: Cutch is the single reason I love daily fantasy baseball. You season longers have soured on him but us daily players don’t care what you’ve done all year long. He has hit successfully in his last 9 out of his last 10 games. I’m rolling the dice on McCutchen against Jerome Williams. In fact I’ll probably stack the Pirates against Williams.

Tampa Bay’s Outfield: Looking for some cheap bats? Look no further. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly any one player on Tampa Bay’s outfield simply because I don’t know who is going to be in the line-up and where they are batting but chances are you will be able to get David DeJesus, Kevin Kiermeyer, Brandon Guyer or Joey Butler on the cheap. All have been producing and they get C.C. Sabathia and his beach ball to hit on Monday.

Now that you know who I will be focusing on it’s time to make some money. If you like my work here tell your friends to give ol’ a look and if you really want to pay me a compliment sign up through my links: DraftKings and FanDuel.
