Another Sunday is upon us and I will once again be guiding you through your Daily Fantasy Baseball FanDuel Picks for Sunday, 7-26-15.

Last week’s lineups brought some good fortune along with plenty of luck. I was able to cash in my cash games with scores under 33 points (crazy). I hope to score more than that this week of course, but cashing is cashing, and if you used my lineups, I hope you did as well.

Some elite pitching options once again for today’s slate and any of the Top Seven will raise my eyebrows. I will likely go spendy in my cash games and then with some more risk for my tourney lineup. Zach Greinke facing the Mets is a costly, but obvious decision for me in most cases. I may fade he and DeGrom simply because they are facing each other in a few and roll with Gerrit Cole.

As always, be sure to pay attention to the MLB Daily lineups and weather prior to locking your lineup. Sunday’s can be tricky with early start times and routine days off. I am writing this post early so if a player is recommended, please don’t assume he will be in the lineup today.

Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks for Sunday 7-26-15

Starting Pitchers

Cash (50/50) Lineups

Zack Greinke, Los Angeles Dodgers @ New York Mets ($12,600)

Greinke has been as great one could be over the past month. The Mets bats are intimidating no one, so the only concern would be if Jacob DeGrom can somehow stifle the Dodgers and take Greinke’s win away. I am not worrying about that today.

Michael Wacha, St. Louis vs Atlanta Braves ($8,500)

Wacha has had a few shaky outings over his last four starts but he gets the Braves today. I love his chances for the win and to get some K’s along with it today.

GPP Lineups

Mat Latos, Miami Marlins @ San Diego Padres ($6,900)

Latos has been very good since returning from the DL.  The Padres seem to be entering rebuild mode after their terrible start. Latos should be able to get a win today in San Diego along with the potential for dominance.

Andrew Heaney, Los Angeles Angels vs Texas Rangers

Heaney has been fantastic over his last four starts and since his call up. He has gone 4-0 along with seven innings pitched in each win. His K’s haven’t been great, but I have a good feeling about Heaney today.

Catcher

Yadier Molina, St. Louis vs Matt Wisler and Atlanta Braves ($2,600)

I will be using Molina in both cash and GPP today, assuming he is in the lineup of course. He has been scoring some points as of late and has a decent matchup today.

If Molina doesn’t play, Yan Gomes is a tempting option at $2,200 today.

First Baseman

Anthony Rizzo, Chicago Cubs vs Aaron Nola and Philadelphia Phillies ($3,400)

I remember seeing Rizzo as one of the high cost first baseman for so long that seeing him now at this price makes me excited. I will be using him in plenty of lineups facing the right-handed youngster Nola.

Second Basemen

Cash (50/50) Lineups

DJ LeMahieu vs Michael Lorenzen and Cincinnati Reds ($3,900)

LeMahieu has been on a 13 game hitting streak and is playing at home against a young pitcher. I love this matchup today.

GPP Lineups

Jonathan Schoop, Baltimore Orioles @ Matt Moore and Tampa Bay Rays ($2,200)

Schoop is a value play for sure and I will use him in a few GPP’s today for his potential to hit a home run. He faces Matt Moore who has been struggling since his return from Tommy John surgery.

Third Basemen

Miguel Sano, Minnesota Twins vs Nate Eovaldi and New York Yankees ($2,700)

Sano has been consistent scoring positive FanDuel points over his last eight games. He doesn’t appear to have slowed down after his ankle injury either. I love his matchup against Eovaldi. His price is slowly rising, for now he is still a great value.

GPP Lineups

Yunel Escobar, Washington Nationals @ Gerrit Cole and Pittsburgh Pirates ($2,300)

I don’t usually like to punt this position but with some of the other options and more ideal matchups today, I will take my chances with Escobar.

Shortstop

Troy Tulowitzki, Colorado Rockies vs Michael Lorenzen and the Cincinnati Reds ($4,500)

If you have excess money, Tulowitzki at home against the young lad should be well worth the money today.

GPP Lineups

Adeiny Hechavarria, Miami Marlins @ Odrisamer Despaigne and San Diego Padres ($2,200)

I would say this a punt play today especially in Greinke lineups where money savings have to be found somewhere.

Outfielders

Carlos Gonzalez, Colorado Rockies vs Michael Lorenzen and Cincinnati Reds ($4,900)

CarGo at home against a young righty makes me drool. I will likely squeeze him a few GPP’s where I will have some money to spare. He makes a great Cash game play too.

Justin Upton, San Diego Padres vs Mat Latos and Miami Marlins ($2,600)

Upton has been struggling a little, but he has a history of doing well against Latos. Maybe today will be one of those days Upton goes off. At his price today, I am willing to take the plunge.

Gregory Polanco, Pittsburgh Pirates vs Joe Ross and Washington Nationals ($2,500)

Polanco is hot gathering hits in  all but one of his last 10 games. His price is nice today, and he faces Ross at home. I like everything about this play today.
