Back again for some more Fanamana 101. We will dive in to some hitters I am going to be targeting this week, and I think you should too. This week is also a great week to get started playing Fanamana if you haven’t already.

In the next day or so I will be posting another strategy based article. You can use this to help you win today and going forward. If you happened to miss some of my earlier posts, fear not they are still around for you to read, and are equally as helpful today. Find them here!

For now this week we will look at a few hitters who I will be trying to have swing for my teams. These are players I will be using whenever they are at the plate and I am playing. These are not the only players I will be using, but the ones I will give the first crack to over other hitters.

In the near future we will be looking at the controversial BvP stat and seeing if it holds any relevance in Fanamana games. I don’t think it should be as polarizing a statistic as it is in Fantasy but that is how it goes. How we will look at it is over one week one team will only use players with optimal BvP history and the other team will use talented players, but with a less than ideal BvP matchup.

So with this let’s once again give a few suggestions to help you in your own Fanamana games. Haven’t played yet? Now is the time to jump in. Get started by downloading the app here on iOS or Android. If you are on an Android device, you’ll have to take this extra step and download the app directly from Fanamana since cash gaming is not permitted on Google Play. Start by joining this weekly contest for free and win too!

This week is the perfect week to start playing. Plus you can try to take down @projectroto himself for free and win $5! How sweet is that? Take us both down for that matter and brag it up! Now let’s look at those hitters to focus on.

Giancarlo Stanton, Miami Marlins: @ Toronto; vs Colorado

Stanton is hot and seems to be creaming the ball once again. Miami is one of the luckier teams this week facing some mediocre pitching and I love Stanton’s ability to pounce. I really wish the late series this week was in Colorado, but hey take what you can get right?

Josh Donaldson, Toronto Blue Jays: Miami, @Boston

Flag Donaldson however you can to get him in your Fanamana lineups, and DFS for that matter. Over the past 14 days Donaldson has hit .346 with 6 home runs and 14 RBI! Pretty solid stuff there, and someone who has been a reliable at-bat for the Fanamana game. Oh yeah, like Stanton above he faces mediocre pitching as well in Week 10.

Maikel Franco, Philadelphia Phillies: Cincinatti, Pittsburgh

Franco has splashed into the majors. He is hitting for average at the moment too which is a nice bonus for the young slugger. Slashing .312/.327/.646 with 4 home runs and 9 RBI makes Franco a hot play with the chance to hit a bomb for your teams. He also happens to face some soft pitching this week as well.

Jose Bautista, Toronto Blue Jays: Miami, @Boston

Just like his teammate mentioned above Bautista faces mediocre pitching and he has been the hottest player over the past week. He has even stolen a few bases to go along with his .385 average, 4 home runs and six walks. Bautista is as safe a bet to get on base right now as anyone. Use him with confidence.
