Fantasy Football is pure chaos. Football in its nature is incredibly unpredictable. That’s part of the reason we love it so much. You never what’s going to happen.

This season has been no different. The Dolphins looked like one of the leagues worst teams the first six weeks of the season. Last week, they got two of their offensive lineman back, and committed to giving RB Jay Ajayi 20 carries for the first time in his career. Ajayi ran for a league high 224 yards (the first 200 yard rushing game by anyone this season), and the Dolphins blew out the heavily favored Steelers.

Ben Roethlisberger tore his meniscus in the game. That injury absolutely crushes the value of Antonio Brown and the rest of the Steeler’s offense. So, in one week, Jay Ajayi has arguably become more valuable than Antonio Brown. That’s Fantasy Football in a nutshell.

I use a A-F grading scale for each player. I do this because I think many players values are equal. In DFS, if two players have the same grade, go with the cheaper option.”A” Players are expected to have big games. “B” players are must starts. “C” players are borderline starters. A “C+” means I would lean towards starting them, and a “C-” means I’d lean towards not starting them. “D” players are not recommended starters, and “F” players are not listed.

As it related to DFS; These numbers are based on FanDuel’s player pricing. Grades are based on FanDuels’s 1/2 point PPR scoring system. A= $8,000 plus, B= $6,500-$7,900, C= $5,500-$6,400, D= $4,600-$5,400, and F= $4,500. Keep in mind QBs prices are inflated by around $1,000, and TEs prices are deflated by around $1,000.

Week 7 Game Previews and Fantasy Predictions

New York Giants at Los Angeles Rams (in London)

The Giants finally got their offense back on track last week versus Baltimore. Their offense is totally one dimensional. Rashad Jennings is their leading rusher with 117 yards this season. Luckily for them the Ram’s secondary is a significant weakness.

Case Keenum scored 4 of his 8 TDs this season last week in a loss to Detroit and Todd Gurley’s struggles continue. The Rams are trending downward right now. This game could start out sluggish due to the travel and start time in London.

Odell Beckham A
Eli Manning B
Sterling Shepard B-
Rashad Jennings/Victor Cruz/Bobby Rainey D+

Todd Gurley B-
Kenny Britt/Tavon Austin C-
Case Keenum D+

Minnesota Vikings at Philadelphia Eagles

This is a revenge game for Sam Bradford. The Vikings coming off a bye are just going to be too much for the Eagles to handle. The Eagles are looking more and more average ever since their 3-0 start. The loss of Tackle Lane Johnson for the season to suspension is a big hit to the Eagle’s offense.

I wouldn’t start any Eagles in this game. Stefon Diggs should be back from a groin injury for Minnesota. Diggs, along with Jerick McKinnon and Kyle Rudolph, have emerged as quality Fantasy options.

Jerick McKinnon B-
Stefon Diggs (Q) B-
Kyle Rudolph/Sam Bradford C+

Ryan Mathews C
Zach Ertz C
Jordan Matthews/Carson Wentz D+

Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans

The Titans are actually a much better overall team than the Colts. The Colts face a must win this week after blowing a division game to Houston last week in unbelievable fashion.

The Titan’s offense has been beating up on bad defenses. They play a third bad defense in a row in the Colts. Andrew Luck has become a one man band in Indianapolis. He’s not getting much help from anyone except T.Y. Hilton.

Player Grades

Andrew Luck B
T.Y. Hilton B
Frank Gore C
Phillip Dorsett/Dwayne Allen C-

DeMarco Murray A
Marcus Mariota B-

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins

The surprise performance of last week goes to the Dolphins. They pummeled Pittsburgh behind Jay Ajayi’s 224 yard rushing outburst. Ajayi’s performance may have looked like a fluke. However, that was the first game Ajayi ever got 20- plus carries, and it was the first time the Dolphin’s offensive line has played up to their potential this season. The Bills have been tough against the run though.

The Bills are a hot team. They’ve ripped off four straight wins, and have the No.1 rushing offense led by LeSean McCoy. McCoy injured his hamstring and will be out a couple weeks. Little known back-up Mike Gillislee becomes an immediate must start, and could crack the Top 10 RBs this week.

Mike Gillislee B+
Tyrod Taylor C+
Charles Clay/Robert Woods C

Jay Ajayi B
Jarvis Landry B

Baltimore Ravens at New York Jets

The Jets have finally benched the great Ryan Fitzpatrick for Geno Smith. That’s a sign of them waiving the white flag on the season. The Ravens are also struggling through a three game losing streak. There’s not a lot of Fantasy value in this game.

Player Grades

Joe Flacco B-
Mike Wallace/Terrance West C+
Breshad Perriman/Dennis Pitta C

Matt Forte C+
Brandon Marshall C+
Quincy Enunwa D+

New Orleans Saints at Kansas City Chiefs

The Saints are a much better team at home. Kansas City has one of the best home field advantages in the NFL. The Chiefs played their best game of the season last week, beating up on the Raiders. The Saints could be walking into a buzz saw in this one.

The Chiefs appear to be splitting snaps at RB with Jamaal Charles and Spencer Ware. While this puts a limit on both of their ceilings, they’re both must starts in this match-up.

Brandin Cooks B-
Drew Brees C+
Mark Ingram C+
Mike Thomas/Willie Snead/Coby Fleener C

Jamaal Charles/Spencer Ware B
Travis Kelce B

Washington Redskins at Detroit Lions

The Skins are riding a four game winning streak into Detroit. The Lions have played much better at home this season. They knocked off the Rams last week, and they’re actually a small favorite according to Vegas.

Washington is the more talented team. I predict a close shootout with the Redskins edging out a victory with a big game from Kirk Cousins. Jordan Reed and DeSean Jackson are both highly questionable. If they can’t go, Pierre Garcon, Jamison Crowder, and Vernon Davis all become nice sleepers.

Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals

The trend of awful play continues for the Browns. Play any and all Bengals. While the Bengals have struggled all year, they need this game to help get them back on track again. A.J. Green is due for one of his monster games.

Terrelle Pryor has been the Browns whole offense this season, and he’s highly questionable. If he can’t go, the Browns have nothing.

Oakland Raiders at Jacksonville Jaguars

This could be a trap game for the Raiders. They’re traveling across the country to play a 1 PM game in the humidity of Jacksonville. The Jaguars aren’t a bad team. and their defense has actually played quite well. Blake Bortles and the offense have played way short of expectations. They could turn it around this week against the Raider’s 32nd ranked defense.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at San Francisco 49ers

I think the 49ers have a shot at an upset this week. The Bucs are not a good road team. Doug Martin had a setback, and won’t being returning this week. Vincent Jackson is also done for the year, so that leaves Mike Evans as the Bucs lone weapon.

The Bucs have a solid run defense, but they have been weak against the pass. Colin Kaepernick didn’t look bad last week, so he and Torrey Smith are sneaky sleepers in this game.

Mike Evans A
Jameis Winston B-
Jaquizz Rodgers B-
Cameron Brate/Adam Humphries D+

Torrey Smith C+

San Diego Chargers at Atlanta Falcons

This is not a good match-up on the road for the Chargers. The RB duo of Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman, along with Julio Jones is an unstoppable combination right now. The Falcons will be playing angry this week after being robbed of a win in Seattle by the refs.

Philip Rivers should put up some decent numbers playing from behind. Hunter Henry is emerging as a big time weapon, overtaking Antonio Gates as the team’s No. 1 TE.

Philip Rivers B

New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers

The injury to Ben Roethlisberger not only hurts his Fantasy owners, it’s also a huge hit to the value of LeVeon Bell and Antonio Brown. Both are so good they remain must starts, but temper expectations.

Everything’s coming up roses for the Patriot’s offense. They haven’t even been tested in the two games since Tom Brady’s return. I don’t expect a Landry Jones led Steelers team to be much of a test.

Tom Brady A+
Rob Gronkowski A+
Martellus Bennett B

Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals

Classic defensive division rivalry in the Sunday night game. David Johnson has been amazing this year, but the Seahawks don’t give up much on the ground. Carson Palmer will have to have a great game to beat this defense.

The Cardnials defense is rounding into form after some early season struggles. They have the pass rushers to make things very difficult on Russell Wilson. Don’t expect any big numbers in this game (except for the Kickers and Defenses).

Houston Texans at Denver Broncos

Brock Osweiler’s return to Denver could be a Monday Night disaster. The Texan’s offense has almost no chance against Denver’s defense. Deandre Hopkins disappointing season will likely continue.

The Texans have been very good in pass defense, but they’ve been soft against the run without J.J. Watt. This plays right into the hands of the Broncos, who will look to keep the ball on the ground.

Deandre Hopkins C
