Before we dive into the Week 10 value plays at quarterback on FanDuel, let’s look back to last week.
Quarterbacks were a little thin a week ago, as there were six different NFL teams on byes, including their signal-callers, like Carson Palmer, Russell Wilson, Matthew Stafford, Brian Hoyer and Joe Flacco.
Strangely, we’ll be without what some might consider a better group of Fantasy quarterbacks for Week 10, without the services of Andrew Luck, Philip Rivers, Matt Ryan – and Blaine Gabbert!
OK, maybe that last part was a joke, but Luck, Rivers and Ryan are top-10 Fantasy quarterbacks over the past five weeks.

3 Value Plays at Quarterback on FanDuel
We handpicked this triumvirate of DFS decency — three quarterbacks for your FanDuel lineups! These three QBs are good plays considering their prices and their matchups in Week 10. Remember, there are just two more weeks with NFL byes.
Cam Newton, Carolina at Tennessee ($8,200): Newton’s Fantasy value dropped precipitously once Kelvin Benjamin tore up his knee in the preseason. But only Philip Rivers and Tom Brady have more FanDuel points among quarterbacks this season, and Newton is red hot (six TDs in his past two games). He should perform up to what his salary dictates against a below-average Titans pass defense that has allowed eight passing touchdowns in its past four games.

Blake Bortles, Jacksonville at Baltimore ($7,800): It rolls right off your tongue when you’re talking about the great quarterbacks over the past five weeks: Brady, Brees, Rivers, Manning, Luck – and Bortles! As a matter of fact, he has more FanDuel PPG than all but three of those guys since Week 5. The Ravens are the second-worst defense against quarterbacks this season, so start your Jaguars!
Kirk Cousins, Washington vs. New Orleans ($6,500): While it’s true that Cousins has only thrown more than one touchdown pass in a game just once this season, this matchup looks good for GPP tournament play. It’s a high ceiling/low floor situation against a Saints team that has allowed 13 passing touchdowns in their past three games.
3 Quarterbacks to Avoid on FanDuel
This trio of quarterbacks are players you should stay away from for the upcoming weekend of NFL action. Some of these players might be worth a contrarian play in a GPP tournament, but for the most part, they’re players to avoid. I discuss how to pick contrarian players for tournaments here on FanDuel Insider.
Russell Wilson, Seattle vs. Arizona ($7,600): There’s a lot of attention paid to whether people should start Carson Palmer or not against this Seahawks defense. But Wilson is a little easier to figure out, since he has not played like we all thought he would at the beginning of the season. He has more than one passing touchdown in just one game this season, similar to Cousins, and he has averaged just over 30 rushing yards per game in his past four contests. That’s nothing to write home about.
Absolutely hilarious how at one point there were "experts" who thought RGIII and Kaepernick were better QBs than Russell Wilson

Eli Manning, N.Y. Giants vs. New England ($7,400): I envision Tom Brady and Co. putting up big numbers against the team that ended their last real run at an undefeated season. But the Pats pass defense has allowed just three passing touchdowns over the past three games.
Ryan Tannehill, Miami at Philadelphia ($7,100): While the price might seem enticing, and the Eagles did just give up three touchdown passes to the Cowboys last week. But for the most part, the Eagles have been tough on quarterbacks, with four of them throwing just one touchdown against them this season (Eli Manning, Tony Romo, Kirk Cousins and Cam Newton).
Ryan Tannehill is what he is. A 2nd tier QB who is INCONSISTENT, and usually mediocre on 3rd down & in the 4th quarter.
