Welcome back to the three Value Plays at Running Back for Week 11. The regular Fantasy season is quickly coming close to the end, but with Daily Fantasy, there are plenty of weeks remaining as there are no playoffs. Each week is a clean slate, and the past and future matter not.
The Value Pick of Doug Martin (12.3 points) should have fared well in your lineups this past week while Justin Forsett (8.4 points) and Darren McFadden (7.3 points) struggled somewhat in what appeared to be favorable match-ups.
The avoiding of Chris Ivory (12.5 points) and Chris Johnson (5.8 points) wasn’t a terrible move last week. However, avoiding Charcandrick West (29.6 points) ended up being a huge mistake.
Also, this is a reminder that I am not encouraging using two of my three picks each week as much as targeting one running back and avoiding others each week as you build your lineups.
With that I wish you all the best of luck, and encourage you to stay tuned for Levi Serfoss’ and my own DFS picks and lineups later in the week. Also if you want roster construction help, check out more content on socalledfantasyexperts.com and even on Twitter.
Week 11 Daily Fantasy Football: 3 FanDuel Value Plays at RB
1. Charcandrick West, Kansas City Chiefs @ San Diego Chargers ($7,100)
Never again will I be avoiding West (well, at least intentionally avoiding him). This week I am playing him even though he is above the $7,000 value cut off. The Chargers defense has been giving up plenty of rushing yards and West has been a dynamic weapon since Charles’ injury.
(Week 10 FanDuel Points: 29.6 /FPPG (last three games): 23.2 )
2. Darren McFadden, Dallas Cowboys @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($6,800)
McFadden had a disappointing Week 10, but if Tony Romo comes back (as he is expected to), the Cowboys offense should have more fire-power and that means McFadden’s workload should be consistent if not heavier.
(Week 10 FanDuel Points: 7.3 / FPPG: 10.3 )
3. Jonathan Stewart, Carolina Panthers vs Washington Redskins ($7,000)
Stewart has been playing decent enough on an offense that has been playing well behind Cam Newton. The more red-zone opportunities the offense has, the more likely Stewart is to get goal-line carries. This week the Panthers are favored, but this could end up being a high-scoring affair.
(Week 10 FanDuel Points: 15.1/ FPPG: 10.6 )
3 Running Backs to Avoid on FanDuel
1. Jeremy Langford, Chicago Bears vs Denver Broncos ($6,700)

Langford has been a pleasant surprise and may have even earned himself more touches when Matt Forte returns. Whether that is this weekend or not doesn’t matter to me as much. The Denver defense has been fierce and while I am sure Langford will be busy, I am not spending on him this week unless it is a GPP contest.
2. LeGarrette Blount, New England vs Buffalo Bills ($7,300)
Blount had a decent enough Week 10, but this week I can’t foresee a productive game facing the Bills defense. He should get work and may even get a touchdown, but I don’t trust him enough at this price.
3. Chris Johnson, Arizona Cardinals vs Cincinnatti Bengals ($6,800)
Johnson had been having a very nice season but I can’t help but see this game becoming a heavy passing affair. With both of these offenses having firepower through the air, a running game may not factor in to this contest.
