Welcome back to the Daily Fantasy Football: 3 Value Picks at RB for Week 12. Last week ended up being a solid week all around, for my picks at least.Daily lineups however may have been decimated by injuries to several great plays in Week 11.
The Value Pick of Jonathan Stewart (17.9 points) and Darren McFadden (16.4 points) should have fared well in your lineups this past week. While Charcandrick West (7.4 points) suffered a hamstring injury and had to leave the game.
The avoiding of Jeremy Langford (11.7 points)who ended up with a late touchdown may not have been ideal, but he barely met value. Chris Johnson (7 points) and LeGarrette Blount (6.6 points) were both underwhelming and definitely fell short of their cost and point potential.
Also a reminder that I am not encouraging using two of my three picks each week as much as targeting one running back and avoiding others each week as you build your lineups.
With that I wish you all the best of luck, and encourage you to stay tuned for Levi Serfoss’ and my own DFS picks and Lineups later in the week if you want targets, or roster construction help on socalledfantasyexperts.com and even on Twitter.
Week 12 Daily Fantasy Football: 3 FanDuel Value Plays at RB
1. Thomas Rawls, Seattle Seahawks vs Pittsburgh ($6,300)
Rawls took his chance and ran withit in full force in Week 11. He faces a Steelers defense tha is middle of the pack against the run, and Seattle will be trying what worked last week early and often. With Lynch possibly heading for surgery Rawls price won’t remain this low for long. Take advantage.
(Week 11 FanDuel Points: 39 /FPPG: 8.7 )
2. T.J. Yeldon, Jacksonville vs San Diego ($6,500)
This Chargers team is terrible against the run and let the Chiefs backs do plenty of damage in week 11. Yeldon has been getting the bulk of carries in Jacksonville, and although they pass first I like Yeldon this week at this price.
(Week 11 FanDuel Points: 9.7 / FPPG: 11 )
3. Chris Johnson, Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco ($6,800)
Johnson wasn’t needed much in last week’s gmame, but this week I have a feeling the Cardinals will be burning the clock and grinding away on the ground early on. Johnson should be the focal point in the second half if they continue to score fast and early in this one.
(Week 11 FanDuel Points: 7/ FPPG: 10.3 )
3 Running Backs to Avoid on FanDuel
1. Chris Ivory, New York Jets vs Miami ($7,000)
I like Chris Ivory plenty, and actually kind of like this matchup but just have enough doubts on his usage, and ability to break tackles as of late. Not sure i am willing to risk $7,000 on him this week until he bounces back in a big way.
2. LeGarrette Blount, New England @ Denver ($7,300)
The Patriots will find a way to score and likely win this game but the Broncos defense has fared well against the run most of the season and Blount + whoever else is the hot hand in the backfield isn’t worth this amount of cash on fanDuel this week.
3. Eddie Lacy, Green Bay vs Chicago Bears ($6,500)
Lacy showed flashes of the Lacy of old last week against my beloved Vikings. However, he is not the beacon of health and they will be playing Thursday on short rest. i don’t trust Lacy, and with the way the Bears have been playing I think the Packers will be working on getting their passing offense back on track in a big way this Thursday.
