The Week 12 value plays at quarterback on FanDuel are helping set your weekend up for a big win, and there are several reasons why quarterbacks play a bigger part than normal this week.

First, there are no bye weeks. That’s right! Every NFL team will have a quarterback going this weekend, so you’ll have 32 to choose from! That’s deeper than the past eight weeks!

Second, the quarterbacks returning from bye weeks are fantastic! They include Eli Manning, Drew Brees and Ben Roethlisberger – heard of them!?! And then there’s Josh McCown, who has been thrown into the starting rotation because of Johnny Manziel’s affinity for da partay! That means we’re adding three top-seven quarterbacks to the mix, compared to the lowly depths we’ve been looking at in recent weeks.

So as we look at the best value plays at quarterback this week, let’s keep all of that into perspective. In FanDuel GPP tournaments, there are going to be a lot of plays with few ownership percentages because there are so many to choose from. Let’s get into it!

Since there are three games being played on Thursday, we’re only going to choose players from the Sunday-Monday games on FanDuel. Well, so much for this overflow of quarterback talent to choose from!

3 Value Plays at Quarterback on FanDuel

We handpicked this trio of DFS domination — three quarterbacks for your FanDuel lineups! These three QBs are good plays considering their prices and their matchups in Week 12.

Josh McCown, Cleveland vs. Baltimore ($6,300)

It’s a Monday night game and McCown returns to a starting role in Cleveland. For this price – and against this defense, McCown is a solid DFS quarterback this week. Earlier this season, McCown threw for 457 yards and two touchdowns against the Ravens in Week 5. We like! The Ravens rank 30th against QBs this season. (If you really want to get sneaky in a GPP, play Matt Schaub, who is replacing the injured Joe Flacco (knee), against a Browns defense that ranks even worse than the Ravens.

Derek Carr, Oakland at Tennessee ($7,400)

The Titans are below average against quarterbacks, allowing two or more touchdown passes in six of their games this season. Carr is coming off a really quiet game against the Lions, so his ownership percentages might be lower than normal this week. But before last week, he had thrown 13 touchdown passes in his previous four games.

Eli Manning, N.Y. Giants at Washington ($7,700)

Manning threw two TD passes against the ‘Skins in Week 3, and he has 10 touchdown passes over his past three games before the bye. This game is expected to be one of the highest scoring contests of the week.

3 Quarterbacks to Avoid on FanDuel

This trio of quarterbacks are players you should stay away from for the upcoming weekend of NFL action. Some of these players might be worth a contrarian play in a GPP tournament, but for the most part, they’re players to avoid. I discuss how to pick contrarian players for tournaments here on FanDuel Insider.

Tom Brady, New England at Denver ($9,000)

Look, Brady could very well torch the Broncos for three or four touchdown passes, but the odds are against it, with Denver ranking first in allowing just 10.80 Fantasy points per game to QBs.

Drew Brees, New Orleans at Houston ($8,200)

Brees throws the ball a ton, but this Texans pass defense has been very good recently, allowing just one touchdown pass in their past three games, allowing an average of 9.0 Fantasy points to QBs in that span.

Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh at Seattle ($7,000)

You might be tempted to run with Big Ben, considering his huge game off the bench in Week 10. But let’s not forget that he is still dealing with a foot injury and the Seahawks defense has averaged just one touchdown pass allowed per game over 10 games this season.

Hopefully, these Week 12 Value Plays at quarterbacks will help you in both your 50/50 games and your GPP tournaments on FanDuel, or whichever Daily Fantasy Football site you play on!
