Every single week during the Fantasy Football season, our “So-Called” Fantasy staff looks over the upcoming slate of games, and they find players that look like good or bad plays in Daily Fantasy Football on sites like FanDuel.com.

And each week, I’m on the hook for taking care of the quarterback value plays and the Week 13 value plays among quarterbacks and tight ends on FanDuel.

This week, we have a full slate for Sunday’s games for just the fourth time this season, with 14 games going on.

I thought you might also be interested in knowing which tight ends are running things over the past five weeks. Since Week 8, Delanie Walker ranks as the highest-scoring Fantasy tight end on FanDuel, with Gronk, Greg Olsen, Tyler Eifert and Zach Miller right behind him.

Heath Miller has 22 receptions in that span, but he doesn’t have any touchdown catches over that period, strangely enough.

3 Value Plays at Tight Ends on FanDuel

We handpicked three tight ends for your Daily Fantasy Football pleasure! These three guys are good plays considering their prices and their matchups in Week 10.

Jacob Tamme, Atlanta at Tampa Bay ($5,200): The Tampa 2 defense is notoriously soft against good pass-catching tight ends up the middle, and Tamme is coming off his best game of the season: seven catches for 92 yards and a touchdown at Jacksonville.

Jordan Reed, Washington vs. Dallas ($5,900): With 14 catches for 144 yards over his past two games (and three touchdown catches in the two games previous to that), Reed is considered a solid play once again at home vs. Big D. The Cowboys have been burned by both Jordan Cameron and Greg Olsen in recent weeks.

Scott Chandler, New England vs. Philadelphia ($5,300): With Rob Gronkowski dealing with a knee injury, Chandler steps in as one of Tom Brady’s better pass-catching options. Unfortunately, the Eagles are pretty tough on tight ends, so use caution.

3 Tight Ends to Avoid on FanDuel

This trio of tight ends are players you should stay away from for the upcoming weekend of NFL action. Some of these players might be worth a contrarian play in a GPP tournament, but for the most part, they’re players to avoid. I discuss how to pick contrarian players for tournaments here on FanDuel Insider.

Ben Watson, New Orleans vs. Carolina ($5,300): He’s facing one of the toughest defenses in football, not allowing a touchdown catch to tight ends in eight of 11 games this season. Watson hasn’t caught a touchdown pass in three games, and he has averaged just four catches for 44 yards in that span.

Crockett Gillmore, Baltimore at Miami ($5,600): The Dolphins defense has allowed just one touchdown catch to tight ends in their past eight games – and that was Gronk.

Travis Kelce, Kansas City at Oakland ($6,200): While the Raiders have been bad against tight ends this season, this is too costly of a price in cash games for a tight end dealing with a groin injury.

Hopefully, these Week 13 Value Plays among tight ends on FanDuel will help you in both your 50/50 games and your GPP tournaments, or whichever Daily Fantasy Football site you play on!
