Welcome to the Week 14 Daily Fantasy Football D/ST Value Plays.
It’s all about value at this point in the season.
Last week’s value plays – the Bengals, Dolphins and Redskins – all came through as strong plays relative to pricing. The Steelers, who scored 21 Fantasy points, won players millions of dollars in Week 13. So the points of the story: continue to find value at your D/ST slot and load up on star players.
This week, yet again, you’ll find some fantastic matchups that could fill your piggy bank up with some serious coin. And let’s be honest, you still have one of those glass hogs sitting in your bedroom.
This week’s most obvious – and safest – choice from a matchup prospective is the Seahawks ($5,300) at the Ravens. Matt Schaub, who is the king of the pick-six, will start again for the Ravens in Week 14, and a devastating Seahawks’ D/ST will reap the benefits. At $5,300, the Seahawks are the second most expensive defense (Broncos $5,400), but are hardly a value play. With so much value across the board in Week 14, finding a way to fit in the Seahawks’ D/ST shouldn’t be hard – if you decide to pay the piper.
For those players that are looking for the Steelers’ D/ST of Week 13, look no further than Week 14’s value plays. So without further adieu let’s dive into this week’s plays.
Week 14 Daily Fantasy Football
3 Daily Fantasy Football Value Plays at D/ST
Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Diego Chargers ($4,800)
The Chiefs’ D/ST just continues to dominate for Fantasy.
Over their last five games, the Chiefs’ D/ST is averaging 15 Fantasy points a week by registering 3.8 sacks and 2.2 interceptions over that span.
This week’s opponent, the San Diego Chargers, are giving up the fifth most fantasy points to opposing defenses, and playing in the tough confines of Arrowhead Stadium will not do them any favors. With a mid price of $4,800, the Chiefs are great play in Week 14.
Washington Redskins vs. Chicago Bears ($4,500)
The Redskins scored eight Fantasy points in Week 13 against the Cowboys, but left some points on the table. This week, the Redskins will head to Chicago to face the Bears and a struggling Jay Cutler.
Cutler, who is a notoriously careless passer, has thrown a pair of pick-sixes over the past month and will face a Redskins’ D/ST that has averaged two turnovers a game (1.2 interceptions) over their last five contests. If you’re looking for a mid-level play with some upside, at $4,500 the Redskins’ DST is a solid play.
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Indianapolis Colts ($4,300)
The Jaguars are not a good defense – neither are the Steelers. But sometimes you’re gifted with a tasty matchup that you just can’t ignore.
Colts’ QB Matt Hasselbeck is coming off a terrible performance against the Steelers and will likely start – albeit banged up – on the road at Jacksonville. The Colts’ offense and offensive line are in flux and continue to play out of sync. With a price at just $300 above minimum, the Jaguars are nice flier that could score double-digit Fantasy points in Week 14.
Good luck in Week 14 and let our DFS Value Plays help you build that million-dollar lineup. And in the event that you win, we take donations.
