We are back after a week off with my Week 7 FanDuel Picks. I hope last week brought you all success even though I did not supply a post of my coveted FanDuel Picks or my lineups.
Each week I will be listing players at each position I am targeting and likely using in many lineups. I will also be sharing my actual lineup(s), perhaps not all of them, but at least one cash game (50/50 & H2H leagues) and one GPP game (Tournaments/Guaranteed contests.)
I will be focusing on FanDuel for this post, and will be sharing other lineups over on Twitter.
If you are new to the game have fun, don’t go overboard, and hopefully we will win some moolah together this season.
Let’s get to my Week 7 FanDuel Picks.
Week 7 Daily Fantasy Football: FanDuel Picks and Lineups
Remember a Starting DFS Lineup on Fanduel consists of 1-QB, 2-RB, 3-WR, 1-TE, 1-K, and 1-DST
Scoring: ½ point PPR
Offense: RuY = 0.1pts RuTD = 6pts PaY = 0.04pts PaTD = 4pts I = -1pts ReY = 0.1pts ReTD = 6pts Re = 0.5pts KR/TD = 6ptsPR/TD = 6pts FU/L = -2pts FU/TD = 6pts 2PC/S = 2pts 2PC/P = 2pts FGu20 = 3pts FGu30 = 3pts FGu40 = 3pts FGu50 =4pts FGo50 = 5pts PAT/P = 1pts
Defense: DE/S = 1pts DE/FR = 2pts DE/RTD = 6pts DE/FRTD = 6pts DE/BRTD = 6pts DE/XPR = 2pts DE/RTD = 6pts DE/RTD= 6pts DE/SF = 2pts DE/B = 2pts DE/I = 2pts DE/PA0 = 10pts DE/PA1-6 = 7pts DE/PA7-13 = 4pts DE/PA14-20 = 1ptsDE/PA28-34 = -1pts DE/PA35+ = -4pts
Much like Pitching in DFS Baseball, Quarterbacks are an important and vital part to your lineup each week. However, you do not always need to spend up on Quarterbacks. In cash games it is recommended to target a top 5 quarterback.
Philip Rivers, QB, San Diego Chargers vs. Oakland Raiders ($8,000)
Philip Rivers has thrown for at least 350 yards in three consecutive games. How many yards will he have on Sunday? pic.twitter.com/5P8e6ARoAl
— San Diego #Chargers (@Chargers) October 22, 2015
Rivers had 26.22, 21.6, and 28.12 points over his last three weeks. He has been passing the ball plenty since the Chargers are struggling to run the ball. He faces a weaker Oakland secondary and it sounds like his top weapon, Keenan Allen, is hoping to play. (Averaging 20.6 FanDuel PPG)
Ryan Fitzpatrick, New York Jets at New England Patriots ($7,100)
Since the Jaguars game is so early on Sunday, he is not available in most FanDuel contests. So I am going with my backup GPP plan. Fitzpatrick has some great receiving weapons, and the Jets play the Patriots so they will likely be playing from behind. Fitzpatrick also scrambles every now and then for some extra points. I am not expecting dominance, but he could meet value in this matchup. (Averaging 18.2 FanDuel PPG)
LeSean McCoy, Buffalo Bills at Jacksonville Jaguars ($7,700)
McCoy is back and coming off of a 16.4 point performance. This week his price remains low and the Bills face a softer defense making him a great RB2 play. (Averaging 12.3 FanDuel PPG)
Devonta Freeman, Atlanta Falcons at Tennessee Titans ($8,700)
Freeman has been an absolute beast and matchup wise there is no reason to see him slowing down. If it aint broke, don’t fix it and at this point Freeman has been more than worth his price. Let’s see if it continues. (Averaging 26 FanDuel PPG)
Michael Floyd, Arizona Cardinals vs. Baltimore Ravens ($4,900)
Floyd had a solid game in Week 6 with five receptions on eight targets and a touchdown. The Cardinals are still scoring plenty and Floyd may not be considered the top target at this point. His value, however, fits in many lineups and he is a nice big red-zone target for Palmer. I am willing to try my luck with him in Week 7. (Averaging 4.7 FanDuel PPG)
Jarvis Landry, Miami Dolphins vs. Houston Texans ($7,100)
Landry remains a target hog and is actually one of the most targeted receivers in the red-zone in 2015. This game may be a tougher match-up but volume is on his side and he is at a reasonable price.
Allen Robinson, Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Buffalo Bills ($7,000)
Robinson has been living up to his pre-season hype and with Blake Bortles throwing the ball close to fifty times a game, he remains a sneaky WR1 and priced as a WR3. I am using him as long he is cheap. (Averaging 15.5 FanDuel Points per Week)
Tight End (If you can’t afford Rob Gronkowski)
Delanie Walker, Tenessee Titans vs. Atlanta Falcons ($5,500)
Walker has become the top weapon in the Titans offense, and the Falcons have said they are honing in on him for this game. I am still not concerned and think he can meet value in Week 7 in yardage and receptions alone. If he gets 9-10 points, I will be happy. (Averaging 10.4 FanDuel PPG)
Nick Novak, Houston Texans at Miami Dolphins ($4,600)
Novak has seen an uptick on extra points with the Texans scoring more. As I always say, kickers can be a crap shoot, but Novak is in a matchup with 23 projected points scored. (Averaging 6.7 FanDuel PPG)
St. Louis Rams vs. Cleveland Browns ($4,500)
The Rams defense faces the Browns and have a high likelihood to get sacks and turnovers. (Averaging 9.8 FanDuel PPG)
The Cash Lineup(s) (I would play these in some GPP Games as well)
The GPP Lineup
I hope my Week 7 FanDuel Picks help you win this weekend.
